Pebbledash Painting Services
How Pebbledash Is Painted
We use a long-pile masonry roller designed for textured surfaces, working it in with a brush to push paint into the recesses. On large areas, spray application is also an option. Pebbledash consumes significantly more paint per square metre than smooth surfaces.
Washing and Surface Treatment
We pressure wash the surface thoroughly and apply mould treatment where moss or algae is present. Painting over contaminated pebbledash causes failure within two to three seasons.
Pebbledash Repairs
On older properties, some areas will have stones missing or sections where the render has begun to detach. We inspect the full surface and include minor repairs in the scope of work.
Colour Options
We use breathable masonry paint that allows moisture vapour to pass through. Popular choices include warm off-whites, natural stone colours, and neutral greys that sit well against brick and tile detailing.
Partial Pebbledash
Many semis have pebbledash on the upper storey only. Combining the upper refresh with render painting on the lower half creates a comprehensive exterior update.
